Terms of Service

1) Description of the Service

Weeber is an anime tracking and social community app that lets you track the anime you watch, discover new series, rate and review titles, and create or join groups to socialize with other users.

Weeber is not a video streaming platform. The app does not host, stream, or provide video playback of any anime content; it only offers metadata and community features that help you track your own watching experience and discover content.

2) Eligibility and Age

To use the Service, you must meet the minimum age required by your local law; this is commonly 13, but may be higher depending on your country. Use of the Service by minors is subject to the supervision and responsibility of a parent or legal guardian. We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts if we determine a user is below the required minimum age.

3) Account

When creating an account, you must provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Each user may hold only one personal account; sharing or transferring an account without Weeber's approval is not permitted. You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

4) User Content and Community Guidelines

You are responsible for the reviews, ratings, group messages, and other content you share through the Service ("User Content"). The following are prohibited when sharing User Content:

• Hate speech, discrimination, or harassment
• Bullying or harassment targeting other users
• Spam, misleading, or unsolicited commercial content
• Illegal, threatening, or harmful content
• "Spoiler-trolling" — deliberately posting spoilers to disrupt other users' experience

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these rules without prior notice, and to suspend or permanently close accounts for repeated or serious violations.

5) Intellectual Property

The Weeber application, its design, brand, logo, and software belong to Weeber and are protected under copyright and trademark law. Anime titles, descriptions, cover images, and similar metadata displayed in the app belong to their respective rights holders and are shown solely for promotional and informational purposes, with attribution where applicable. Weeber claims no ownership over such third-party content.

6) Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party services such as Google Play, Google Firebase, and Google AdMob. Use of these services is subject to the respective providers' own terms of service and privacy policies. Weeber does not guarantee that these third-party services will operate uninterrupted or error-free.

7) Advertising

The Service contains advertising to help support its operating costs. Ads are delivered through Google AdMob and related ad networks; ad content and frequency may change from time to time.

8) Paid Services

Weeber may, in the future, offer certain features under a paid subscription (e.g., a premium membership). If offered, such paid services are purchased through Google Play Billing; pricing, billing cycle, and cancellation terms will be displayed in-app at the time of purchase. Refund requests are subject to Google Play's applicable refund policies and are handled directly through Google Play.

9) Termination

You may close your account at any time via the in-app account deletion flow or by contacting support. If you violate these Terms or applicable law, Weeber reserves the right to suspend or permanently close your account without prior notice.

10) Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." Weeber makes no express or implied warranty that the Service will operate uninterrupted, error-free, or free of security vulnerabilities. Use of the Service is at your own risk.

11) Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via in-app notice, release notes, or this page. Continuing to use the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
